havent been blogging fr a long time. there were instances whereby i had tons to say, but lazy to pen down. life's gd, no it's great. im now doing attachment which meant.. no more exams & tutorials. also, after quitin teaching tuition ( the little hippos), i had more time for myself. i hav time to laze ard hse, swim with wenli dabao, hanging out with pek hua shan, meeting with dearest neth, attending tessy's grad, do some baking fr christmas, watch dramas (finally! just finished takuya's mrbrain.. nt bad but its kinda repetitive, tt's why there's only 8 episode i guess.. but still, it's nt bad! will watch the movie when it's out.. also takuya's the only male that looks gd with long hair *loves* okay enough of this. get back to the topic) well, wl's a great friend. she's someone who's u can feel so confortable with. i wont have to worry about the conversation.unlike some other people i know... "what sld i say next?" "hmmmm what sld we do now?" well, think u should get what i mean. anyways, she's a friend tt u will feel absolute peace with. we cycled all the way fm east coast to changi. it was a long route. and the furthest i have cycled. we cycled along changi aiport, saw planes taking off, and all the way to Aviation Park Road if i have not mistaken. really far & isolated. tummy rumbling, we decided to turned back. cycled for a long time & finally passed the front gate of SAFRA resort. suddenly, i felt a jam at my back of the wheels & then crash. wl all flats on the floor. groaning, she turned ard saying "i dont wan2 see" her knee was so scrapped and bled soooo much. so much so much. it was white.. i had to assure her that it wasnt the bones.. and not fats... i think it was the underlayer skin? well, the other knee wasnt that bad. her palms were bleeding too. i helped her up to the shade, which was 4 metres away.. i cld feel the pain. it looked really really painful. she started to say that she was dizzy. i was totally flustered. we had no tissue with us. we were kilo metres away from east coast.. i only had water.. wash it? oh man.
i repeatedly said that im nt in nursing, wl told me to change course fm accountant to nursing. man i have zero knowledge abt wound treatment. when was the last time i had a great fall? oh man i sound like humpty dumpty. was it in primary sch? yes primary 3.. 10 years ago!!! back to the scene.. suddenly, a couple cycled passed us.. zoom. another 2 girls cycled passed us. sigh* i cant possibly call an ambulance right! the only thing i had to do was to run into SAFRA and ask for help. as i ran and grab my bikes.. i saw the 2 girls u-turning back.they asked me if i need plaster. the wound was about a circumference of my fist, mayb slightly smaller. a small plaster wont do any gd. "tissue? do u have tissue?" hmmm, times of panic. they gave me tissue & peddled off. really girls. thank you. as i prayed over her wounds, asking Jesus for help.. a lady & 2 boys came out from the chalet side door. the lady walked towards us and asked what happened. well, wenli was lying down (dizzy remember?) so i guess it attracted her attention. i thought she was just another typical singaporean who would just "oh" and walk off. not no.. she went into SAFRA and asked for first aid. shall cut the long story short. she helped carry wenli by the shoulders and went to the lifeguard area. the lifeguards started to help wenli. the lady rushed into her room to get warm water for wenli. oh kind was she! praise Lord.

if it wasnt for their help, i wont know what to do. if we were right smack at a secluded area, i guess i will be calling ambulance for a minor injury. speaking about ambulance, dabao recently witness an old man collapsing. many people stood ard him. dabao was running an errand near her hse & did nt bring her hp, so she asked the person beside her to call the ambulance.. the person refused. saying she had to pay $50 if she dial the ambulance. none of the bystanders call. they just look. look. dabao had to run to a public phone to call. and she followed him to the hospital. why. is 50 dollars unaffordable? it's a life, no? that uncle's gone.

wl says Jesus's busy celebrating His birthday (cos that day was Christmas), so He had forgotten about her. oh no, Jesus means saviour. He's born to save us. if Jesus wasnt with us, we wont be at the right place at the right time. if wl was to fall around the changi route, of after SAFRA, i dont know what will happen. safra was right smack in the middle of the wilderness (the only word i can think of now.)

unlucky to fall and bled? on contrary, we left that falling down on that day wasnt that a big deal. we felt the love and kindness from that lady & the lifeguards. awww.

no tears shed, & she was as chirpy as ever. still had craving for tekar after the fall. & no attitude or bad mood too. she wasnt grumpy or grabbed a cab back home. even went to kallangleisurepark for yoguru. & shopped fr clothes. really, what a great friend i have(:
oh yes, if i was jacob black fm twlight. i would have strip off my top to stop the blood. haha. too bad no 8 packs!

hey wenli, im sure ure pretty busy in china right now, well i hope it's not regarding television!! haha, well, just wan2 let u know that i miss u! well.. remember u used to call me once a while and we'll talk nonsense for hours, issues from sch to the neighbour with bicycle.. hahaha.

im quite busy these days, with new tutorials to get myself real busy and my new job of home tuition. my students will be having exams in 2 weeks time so im like going to their house like 3 times a week. and session will end around 830. imagine a full day in school plus tuitioning? 快喘不过气啊, teach the kid isnt that easy, cos i really want them to score and me trying to push the student to work hard and do my homework, its really tiring.. with projects piling and food in sch's not excatly fantastic (must be today's lunch!!! its really bad) but still, there's baos to make me feel that my day's not that bad!!! (met yishan today to meet ben at tpy to pass him his pay which was supposed to be dued like 2 weeks ago.....well, meeting shan was a double plus point! haha)

my finger kiaped onto the inner top of the umbrella, it hurts so bad. and i could see internal bleeding, da bao laughed and wanted to burst it. so she could see a fountain sprouting in the library.
went tuition today again, pretty much enjoyed myself. even though it was tiring to teach many brain cells died, but, she's quite interesting! haha, kids these days, cannot 小看他们！

i went driving in the morning (went 4 days straight alr.. by the time u come back.. i'll be driving!!!)
after driving i head down to beauty world.. to see the doctor..

hmmm, i saw thinking whether to sit all the way to clementi or to sit to ang mo kio and take a bus.. and as i was making a decision, i was thinking about you.. how indecisive u are!!! hahaha spread to me~~

why i see a doctor? ok this thing had been bugging me for the past 2 weeks.. it's from taiwan..
there's something wrong with my leg.. 小腿 part.. it has like mosquito bite size red spots like rashes but it's suppppppppper itchy.. it's looked horrible too.. it's swollen and there's 15 on my right and 10 on my left.. so 大包 intro to me her doctor..
the doctor say it's bug bite.. probably from the cows.. ewwww..

this was the size of the bite 2 weeks ago.. and now it's swollen and like

okok, i reached the clinic.. the quene number was 19.. and guess what number i got?

FAINT!!!! i made an appointment... but the nurse says that i hav to queue as well.. arggghhh...

and she sugguested to go up for lunch and we still can make it.. & guess what we had? the xiao long bao shop!!!! aiyah, u must be thinking like.. no big deal.. beijing have a lot right??

after lunch, we head down.. we went down quickly.. cos i didnt wan2 miss my turn and the number was 41!!! we ate for 35 minutes.. and before that i waited for 2 hours.. so... it took me 2hrs 35 min to see a doctor.. but the doctor is gooood. so humourous (: i like~~~ he's da bao's family doctor.. when he saw my leg.. he immediately say it was bug bite.. not like the other doc i saw.. didnt know what was it.. da bao's doctor even flipped a thick torn book to show me HAHA.

after feeling happy that i was somewhat cured (cos i know what the spots were..) we went up again to eat desserts.... avocado ice*** WEN LI JEALOUS??? ultimate YUMS! hehehe

oh ya the funny doctor told me to apply the cream and stick musking tape on my legs.. now i look like a mummy..

when i told wenli that we encountered monkeys in mac-richie reservoir, wenli's reaction was like.. "awwwwww~~~ 好可爱哦".. i knew in her head.. she was picturing.. something like this..

or even a cute monkey eating bananas..

but pleassssse no! it was something like this.. erm im exaggerating, the monkey wasnt that angry, just when it yawned.. we saw the fangs.. my God. i thought monkeys have straight teeth hahahahaha. ok to put it simply, we freaked out..

i snapped a photo of the whole troupe of monkeys, 2 big ones and 6 small ones..
the small ones are like jumping and swinging from branches that are about my height (1.64 m) which is like.. not HIGH UP IN THE TREES where they are supposed to be at right. jumping and swinging down to the ground and up and down and left and right totally blocking our path,

we 3 were like.. erm. how?? we cant turn back right? the big monkey just sat right smack in the way but with it's back towards us... so we were like.. "okayy, go slow.." it looked harmless.. but suddenly, it yawned! and the fangs were like.. 6 cm long, my God so gross.
hahaha we 3 took 3 steps back and stared at it.. hmmm u know there are sooo many cases of the monkeys from mac richie snatching ppl's bags and opening them? their reputation is really bad..
with those thoughts stuck in our head, we quickly sling our bad pack in front of us (on our chest), held our breath and bravely walked forward..

praise God, the big one didnt bother us.. next was the 6 small monkeys, they stared at us.. and pei shan was like.. "dont look at them!!!" the small creeps walked towards us, and we walked reallllly fast.. suddenly, peishan started running,

jing: why are you running?
peishn: they are running beind us!!

i guess char was the calm one.. i dont remember her saying anything, i was praying in tongues alll the time hahahahaha.

oh ya forgot to say this, on the way, we saw this sign board.. it says.. 臭豆走道 what a weird name! japanese natto?

to keep ourselves busy and try to keep our minds off komodo dragons which char keep saying... it will eat us..
(sis and louis saw a 1.5 m iguana or komodo or some lizard in mac richie before..)

we played the word games like.. 面包，鲍鱼 something like that.. from chinese to dialet to english.. haha it was quite fun, cos my vocab and char's vocab not that good, so sprouted nonsense..

yayy the bridge to the entrance of tree top trial!! after climbing the horrible horrible slope... it's so steep .. can roll down...
and the wonderful news when we reach the entrance door, it's lock! it's not open on mondays.

updates: early feb events..

09/02/09, was 人日, was it? means everyone's birthday? im not sure too. but it was ages since louis came.. and we hadnt 捞鱼生, so mom bought it from sushi tei and salmon sashimi.. hmphmm! supper yummy. and just nice, that night had the "brightest-moon-in-years" thing, yea, it was brighter than the lamp lights outside my house, my eyes hurt after staring at it!!!

on that day to koh's house, my photos are alll blur, u know whyyy? the focus buttttton!!

how silly can i get? i forgot to push the focus button and allllll my pictures are soo NOT focus!

shan heard abt the new korean teacher, and her tension went high, sky high.

haha. and darren's superb piano playing, really improved like 20 fold compared to secondary school times when we play the piano in the AVA room after science practical.

after hanging out at koh's house, they headed over to my house for buffet dinner. not exactly very yums but chatted a lot. fun times sure fly.

had a whole lot of walk-a-ton today, tried to buy my erhu but the quality isnt that fantastic, so going to try to buy it at taiwan instead. well, today's trip down to chinatown to accompany wenlili to buy her ticket.. i think if i count how long we have wasted to find bus stop, to find the shop, to find our way from chinatown to bugis and to dg .. it think.. at lease 2 hours!!!!!!!

today watched 'the boy in stripe pajamas' with pei char and jiali, quite a good movie, sad thou.

when the credits flashed up, 4 of us were like.. "mannn why watch this type of show after exams" .. hmmm should hav watched some cheesy love comedy and laugh my ass off but this show is like.. emotional. but still, i enjoyed myself.

but i only did 1 during common test revision, so it's very good improvement hehe.
